Statement of Faith

The sole basis of our beliefs is the Bible as the infallible written Word of God. We believe that it was fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, and that it was written without error. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters. (2 Tim. 3:15)

We affirm our beliefs from these Bible teachings:

1. There is one true God, externally existing in three persons-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit-each of whom possesses equally all the attributes of the Father and the characteristics of His personality. (Matt. 28:19)
2. Jesus Christ is the Living Word; He is perfect deity and true humanity united in one person. (Rom. 10:13)
3. Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, His body, which is composed of all men and women who have been joined to Him through saving faith. ( Luke 24:47)
4. God admonishes His people to assemble together regularly for worship, for participation in Biblical ordinances, for edification through Scriptures. (Heb. 10:25)
5. Every believer is called to live in Holiness. (1John 2:6)
6. At physical death, the believer enters immediately into eternal fellowship with the Lord. (Rom. 6:23)
7. The Lord Jesus commands all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world. (Mark 16:15)
8. Communion is a fellowship expressing our sharing in a memorial of our Saviors ultimate sacrifice. (Luke 22: 19-20)
9. Baptism in water. (Acts 2:38)
10. Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
11. Miracles and Divine Healing. (John 5:14)
12. Spiritual Gifts. (1Cor. 13)
13. Five-fold ministry gifts (Eph. 4:12)

The Vision

It is the vision of God for Bethel Ministry to be a productive and fruitful part of the body of Jesus Christ, to function by the five-fold ministry of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors and Teachers. To promote the full Gospel of Jesus Christ through teaching, prayer, worship, fasting, education, and evangelism to serve God and our community, and to celebrate the triune God.
